Gigi Boucher
Iowa wedding and portrait photographer

Hello and Welcome!

gigi boucher photography - photographer in iowa.jpg

My name is Gigi and I'm a destination wedding photographer based in the midwest. I love capturing light, airy, and film inspired images. When I don't have a camera in my hand you can find me hanging out with my husband, Jake, and our cute coonhound mix, Zeke.

If you're looking at this page congratulations on your engagement! Planning a wedding is exciting and I know choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision! Here's a little about my photography style...

My approach to any wedding day is photojournalist. My focus is capturing timeless, classic images that you'll cherish for a lifetime. I love to capture both candid moments and posed images and I believe that no detail is too small to be captured. I'm in my fourth summer of shooting weddings and it seems like every wedding I shoot becomes my new favorite! I love getting to know all of my couples and have been blessed to capture so many love stories. One of my goals as a wedding photographer is to create images that you'll love! Another one of my goals is to make sure that your wedding day is as stress free as possible.

If you think I might be the wedding photographer for you, keep reading.

Pricing and information

Destination weddings start at $3,400 and include:

- 9 hours of wedding day coverage

- 1 photographer + assistant

- No additional travel expenses

- 500- 800 digital edited images with print rights

1. Booking your date

I'd love to hear all about your big day! If you're interested in having me as your photographer, we can setup a Facetime or Skype date to chat. If you decide I'm the wedding photographer for you, you can book the date by signing the contract and paying the $800 reservation deposit. This deposit is taken off the total amount due on your wedding day.

2. Timeline help

Throughout the wedding planning process I'll be available for any questions you may have. I'll help you work out your wedding day timeline so we're sure to get the best pictures on the big day! Before the wedding, we'll schedule a virtual meeting so we can go over any detail that you want to discuss. You can also add extra hours of coverage at this time.

3. The Rehearsal

Since my destination weddings don't include engagement sessions, I'd love to come to your rehearsal to meet you and your fiance in person, before the wedding. This is also a great time for me to prepare for the ceremony and find the best spots for pictures.

4. Wedding day

I'll be there getting a mixture of candid and posed shots. My favorite pictures from the day are always the details and bride and groom portraits! My husband, Jake, is my assistant for destination weddings and will also help ensure that the day flows as smoothly as possible.

5. Image delivery

In just 4 weeks, I'll have you edited images delivered to you in the form of an online gallery. You'll get 500-800 digital edited images with duplicates in black and white. Your online gallery never expires, and  you get full print rights to the pictures so you can use them however you want!

6. Album design

You're more than welcome to create your own wedding album. If you want the hard work done for you though, I'll design the album for you. The cost of album design plus the physical album is usually between $200 and $700. You get a couple revisions so it can look exactly how you want it!
