Coutney and Timon’s wedding day was beautiful in every way!

These two met in high school. During her senior year, Courtney asked Timon to go to the Sadie Hawkins Dance with her. They hit if off right away and have been together ever since. Even through going to different colleges and dating long distance, their love for each other has remained strong.

Oak View Weddings & Events was the perfect place for these two to tie the knot. Both Courtney and Timon enjoy being outdoors so they knew that they wanted an outdoor ceremony. They chose Oak View because of the natural beauty of the property. They loved the weeping willow by the ceremony site, the gold string lights, and the woodsy and industrial look of the entire venue. The variety of outdoor spaces provided an amazing space for their closest friends and family to hangout throughout the evening.

The theme of Courtney and Timon’s wedding was rustic/boho with lots of wood details and greenery. The burgundy, navy, and blush color scheme was perfectly incorporated into every detail. My favorite details included Timon’s cuff links, the lovely invitation suite, and the reception seating chart.

My favorite part of this day was the ceremony. Timon and Courtney exchanged personalized and heartfelt vows. I couldn’t help but tear up as they read them to each other. Their unity cross and time of worship was a special time that incorporated their faith into the ceremony.

After spending just a short time with Courtney and Timon, it’s clear to me why they are so beloved by their family and friends. They are both incredibly smart and talented, yet humble and kind. Their love for each other and for God is obvious to everyone around them. It was a joy to capture their wedding day!
