Miller Wedding

the blog

Becca and Austin met while working together at Biolife. Becca was a nurse, and Austin was a phlebotomist. These two make a great couple and I was so happy to be the one to capture their big day!

The day started out at the Hampton Inn in Coralville. I loved the gifts and letters that Becca and Austin exchanged during the morning while getting ready. Austin wrote Becca a letter and also wrote a special message for her on the bottoms of her wedding shoes. Becca surprised Austin with a watch inscribed with the following message, “Until the end of time! 9.21.219”

It was raining and storming almost all day, but thanks to a venue with great natural light, we were still able to get lots of good portraits inside!

Becca and Austin’s theme was rustic with a burgundy and navy color scheme. I loved all of the little rustic design elements that they incorporated into their ceremony and reception design. The design featured lots of greenery and baby’s breath. One of my favorite elements were the lights in the ceremony area.

Becca and Austin’s day was filled with so many happy tears and joyful moments. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!
