Bacon Wedding

the blog

Rachel and Jeremy got married on a chilly fall day in Hopkinton, Iowa.

The day started out at Harvest View Barn. This property had so many cool elements that tied in nicely with Rachel and Jeremy’s rustic theme. The house on this property was the perfect place for all the girls to hang out as they got ready. I love the t-shirts that Rachel gave to all her bridesmaids to wear while doing their hair and makeup. One of my favorite parts of the morning was Rachel’s first look with her dad. There were tears all around and it was such a fun moment to capture.

After Rachel and Jeremy’s first look we headed to the old Lenox College campus in Hopkinton for portraits. Even though it was chilly outside, the fall colors were stunning and the pictures turned out beautifully. I love the way the burgundy bridesmaids dresses popped with the yellow and orange leaves.

Rachel and Jeremy’s ceremony took place at Saint Luke’s in Hopkinton. After a sweet ceremony, it was time to party! Before the reception officially started, the newlyweds and their bridal party had some fun on the party bus and made a quick stop at a local bar. Once we got to the reception, the space was beautifully decorated with lots of lights, rustic signs, and greenery. After everyone made their grand entrance, it was time to cut the cake, give speeches, and of course, dance!

I hope you enjoy the picture from Rachel and Jeremy’s big day!
