Lemke Wedding Ceremony

the blog

Ethan and Mackenzie had a small wedding ceremony with just their families. COVID-19 forced them to move their original plans to next summer, but I’m so happy that these two were still able to get married!

The festivities took place at the castle at Eagle Point Park in Clinton, Iowa. The castle provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. It was also special because both Ethan and Mackenzie’s parents have pictures together at this location.

Even though the forecast was calling for rain all morning, by the afternoon, we had a perfect sunny day. The ceremony was short and sweet with a string trio, a reading by Mackenzie’s brother, and of course, Ethan and Mackenzie’s vows to each other.

To finish off the day, tons of would-be wedding guests surprised Ethan and Mackenzie by driving by to congratulate them. I loved seeing all of the signs and creative ways that their friends cheered them on.

Ethan and Mackenzie, thank you for letting me capture your wedding! I already can’t wait for June 26, 2021!
