Dakota and Maria tied the knot at the Grand River Center in Dubuque. This venue was the perfect location for their celebration because it’s right on the Riverwalk where they spent a lot of time together when they first started dating. When they first got together, they enjoyed going for walks and playing Pokemon Go on this riverwalk. You could even see the place where they got engaged across the Mississippi River.
These two had a beautiful summer day for their wedding. The weather was just perfect which made all of the pictures outside enjoyable. Although the ceremony and reception were inside, there was easy access for people to hang out and gather outside along the river.
Maria and Dakota’s ceremony took place in the River Room at the Grand River Center. This room had huge glass windows and overlooked the river. The natural light made it a beautiful spot to tie the knot. Their ceremony included a speech from the bride’s mom, a unity sand ceremony, and the perfect song to walk back down the aisle to – Maria by Brooks & Dunn.
It was a big day for Maria and Dakota, but just as special for their kids Addisyn and Dawson. These two made the cutest ring bear and flower girl. Maria and Dakota found so many special ways to include them in the day, as you’ll see in the pictures.
