Haley and Curtis Engagement

We had a rare sunny and warm December afternoon for Curtis and Haley’s engagement session. We started the session off at Wildcat Den State Park and ended at Riverfront Park in Muscatine.

Emerson Newborn

I don’t take a lot of newborn pictures, but after this session I definitely hope to shoot more! Emerson looked so precious with her bows. Along with her newborn pictures, we were also able to take a few family pictures!

Maddie and Patrick Engagement

I had a perfect afternoon taking Maddie and Patrick’s engagement pictures. We started at Palisades Kepler State Park and enjoyed the sunshine. To end the session, we got some shots at their favorite local coffee shop! These two are both kind and easy going and I’m already looking forward to their wedding.

Rose Wedding

James and Abigail had a gorgeous winter wedding in Fairfax, Virginia. They completely transformed their reception venue into a winter wonderland with lots of lights, Christmas trees, and floral arrangements. My favorite part of the day was the surprise song that James wrote and sang for Abigail during their reception.

Perez Family

The last time I photographed the Perez family, they were a family of 6. It’s so clear that their new addition, Enrique, is SO adored by both his parents and siblings. Their natural happiness and love for each other made my job easy.

McClenahan Wedding

It snowed and sleeted all day, but that didn’t stop Tanner and Nikki from having the best day ever! These two and their bridal party were such troopers despite the pictures in the freezing cold. I love the portraits with the falling snow.

Darcy and Chuy Engagement

We were able to capture some beautiful fall colors for Darcy and Chuy’s engagement pictures. To begin the session, we started off at Woodpecker Nature Trail in Iowa City. We were able to take pictures at the exact spot where these two got engaged.
