Hello and welcome. I'm Gigi! I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Eastern Iowa.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. This is where I share recent weddings and shoots, tips for brides, and tips for photographers.
Even though it had been cold all week, Max and Jacy had a beautiful sunny day for their wedding. They had their ceremony at New Era Lutheran Church in Muscatine. I love how their burgundy color scheme matched the interior of the church. Their color scheme was accented with pale pink, navy, and lots of greenery.
I loved getting to be a part of Haley and Curtis’s wedding day! It rained most of the day, but we had a couple dry hours in between the ceremony and reception for pictures. The Figge Art Museum provided a beautiful modern location for the bridal party and bride and groom portraits.
Brianna and Ben tied the knot at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Some of my favorite pictures from the day are the shots of the bridal party just hanging out and having fun before the reception. I also loved the wedding design that featured wildflowers and different shades of pink and purple.
After spending just a short time with Courtney and Timon, it’s clear to me why they are so beloved by their family and friends. They are both incredibly smart and talented, yet humble and kind. Their love for each other and for God is obvious to everyone around them. It was a joy to capture their wedding day!
James and Abigail had a gorgeous winter wedding in Fairfax, Virginia. They completely transformed their reception venue into a winter wonderland with lots of lights, Christmas trees, and floral arrangements. My favorite part of the day was the surprise song that James wrote and sang for Abigail during their reception.
Caryssa and Blake tied the knot in their hometown, Manchester, Iowa. Their soft pastel color palette included light grey, lavender, navy, and lots of greenery. Their day started out at an old remodeled house, which provided a beautiful backdrop for their details, getting ready pictures, and portraits.
Lucas and Adeara had a unique wedding with so many little personalized details. They worked in references from their favorite shows and games, had tons of board games for their guests to play at the reception, and had the most adorable flower pup and ring dog!
